The shots on goal suggest it was an even game. Goaltender Chris Janzen had other ideas.
Janzen turned away 37 Markham shots to backstop the Trenton Golden Hawks to a 4-0 victory over the Royals. It was Janzen’s third shutout of the season. The shots were 38-27 Trenton.
Liam Morgan scored twice and Brandon Marinelli added a goal and two assists. Jordan Chard also scored in the victory.
Trenton leads the OJHL with 49 points. They host Whitby on Friday at 7:30 at the Dunc McDonald Community Gardens.
