Belleville city council will hear from the new Bay of Quinte Regional Marketing Board, at its meeting Monday afternoon.
The Marketing Board is an amalgamation of the former Bay of Quinte Tourist Council and the Bay of Quinte Living Council.
Representatives from the board will describe their new governance system and will ask for financial support from city council.
Under the new amalgamated structure, Belleville is actually being asked to pay less to the regional marketing board than it did to the two previous boards.
The request is for $50,000 per year, down significantly from the previous total of $90,000.
Belleville council meets tomorrow afternoon at 4 p.m.
