That is the message ringing loud and clear as the annual Lock it or Lose it Campaign kicks off Friday in Belleville.
Starting today, vehicles will be checked in parking lots throughout the city of Belleville to ensure vehicles are locked and valuables are kept out of sight.
Pamphlets will be placed on vehicle windshields advising vehicle owners of the inspection.
This successful campaign highlights the importance of everyone working together for a safer community.
