The former President of Loyalist College has received a big honour from the provincial government.
On Tuesday, the Ontario Liberals handed out awards to six Ontario graduates, but also a Lifetime Achievement Award was given to outgoing Loyalist President Maureen Piercy.
Piercy was given the award for demonstrating exceptional leadership and promoting excellence in Ontario’s college system. .
Meantime, one of the six winners of the Premier’s Awards for College Graduates was a Loyalist student.
