Two men from Tweed have been charged after OPP say they left the scene of a crash in Tyendinaga Township on Wednesday.
Officers were called after a blue Dodge pick-up truck rolled over on Shannonville Road, around 8:40 p.m. and callers said two men got out of the truck and walked away from the scene.
The Emergency Response Team and K-9 unit were called in and tracked the pair down a short distance away, between Moneymore and Tracey Roads.
35 year-old Samuel Koch is charged with impaired driving, failing to remain at the scene of a crash, two counts of drug possession, driving without valid insurance or ownership and being a novice driver with more than 0 blood alcohol content.
22 year-old Alex Koch is charged with resisting a peace officer and possession of marijuana.
Both men were released on promises to appear in late December.
