The Municipality of Brighton has received some good news on their industrial land.
Last month, Brighton was given the thumbs up from the province on the Brighton Industrial Park.
It’s called the Provincial Investment Ready Certified Site Designation, and Brighton is just the 19th municipality to come in under the program.
A provincial marketing campaign, access to global and domestic investors and other benefits are part of getting the designation.
Mayor Mark Walas says that as a part of the group, along with the Quinte Economic Development Commission, and Northumberland County, they’ll be well positioned.
