Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for the Kingston, Napanee and Picton areas as the winter weather is set to take effect.
A few centimeters of snow are expected by Sunday evening. This snow could linger and accumulate affecting the Monday morning commute.
Current information suggests total snowfall amounts to be around 10 to 15 cm by Monday evening.
Motorists should be prepared for winter driving conditions beginning Sunday.
