Preparations continue at Belleville’s Yardmen Arena, as work continues to welcome the American Hockey League.
Over the past few weeks, staff have been working to ready the site for the contractor, who will facilitate renovations to the rink for the Belleville Senators.
Director of Recreation Mark Fluhrer says the arena looks like a war zone.
Fluhrer says this week they had meetings with the contractors, reminding them of the importance of the tight timeline they are under.
The Ottawa Senators are moving their farm team to Belleville for the start of next year.
