A murder trial starts this Monday at the Quinte Consolidated Courthouse.
46 year old Ronald Shorey of Trenton is charged with second degree murder in the 2012 death of Cindy Sullivan, who was 40 at the time.
The incident occurred in 2012 in a townhouse at Adrian Court in Trenton. Shorey and Sullivan knew each other and had been dating.
The trial is expected to last 2 to 3 weeks.
