The Wellington Dukes scored 4 goals for the first time in a month and it was plenty as they clipped the Stouffville Spirit 4-1.
Mitchell Mendonca, Brayden Stortz and Kyle Prendel scored second period goals and newcomer Mitch Martan added two assists. Martan was making his Dukes debut after joining the team from the West Kelowna Warriors of the B.C. Hockey League.

In the Provincial Junior “C” Hockey League, Jacob Murphy snapped a 2-2 tie mid way in the third to lead the Picton Pirates over the Campbellford Rebels 5-2. Ryan Andrew had 2 assists for the Rebels.
