Belleville Police have confirmed a body found in the Bay of Quinte today is missing woman, 52 year-old Tina Wedden of Belleville.
Wedden was reported missing Thursday, after her family hadn’t heard from her in over a week and search and rescue teams found her body in the bay, near the waterfront trail, around noon Friday.
In a press release, Belleville Police Inspector Sherri Meeks says foul play is not suspected and no other information will be released, in order to respect the family.
