The annual Remembrance Poppy campaign, supporting veterans, has had another successful year.
Each year The Royal Canadian Legion conducts the Poppy campaign to raise funds in support of veterans and their families, from the last Friday in October to Remembrance Day.
President of Legion Branch 99 in Belleville, Andy Anderson, says just over $47,000 has been raised locally this year to help veterans and their families.

Anderson says there are veterans in the Quinte area from a number of campaigns.
