An East Northumberland Secondary School student could represent Team Ontario at an international gymnastic event in January.
Nicole Quick, a member of Quinte Bay Gymnastics club, competed in the Women’s Artistic Gymnastic competition in Belleville Saturday
The Level 7 athlete took gold in the floor routine and silver in beam in the 72 athlete field.
Quick finished 9th overall, meaning she will be 1st A.P for Team Ontario at the Lady Luck Invitational in Las Vegas in January. The top 8 from Ontario go.
14- year old Quick says “I worked really hard and to get first and second in front of friends and family was great.”
On Friday Bayside student Teagan Caulfield finished first overall in Level 6 and will also head to Vegas.
