During the week that local police detachments are focusing on thefts from vehicles, Quinte West OPP charged five people with stealing from cars.
On Saturday, two adults and three young people were brought in, after electronics, money and personal effects were taken from cars in west end Trenton.

Officers are reminding the public to lock their vehicles and hide valuables.
