A former Belleville Bull has died, while on the road with a hockey team he coached.
37 year old Ryan Crowther, who lives in Orillia, was in Chicago with the North Central Predators for a hockey tournament, when he passed away from an apparent heart attack.
Although that is believed to be the cause of death, they are looking for an autopsy.
There is a GoFund Me account raising money for his wife and daughters to bring him home.
Earlier this year, Crowther came out stating he suffered from post-concussion syndrome.
He believes he had 20 concussions in his hockey playing days.
He was a second round draft pick of the Bulls in 1995 and played defense for two seasons in the Friendly City.
