Having the wrong license plates led to charges against a 32 year old Brighton woman Sunday morning.
Just before 1:00 a.m., Quinte West OPP stopped a woman in downtown Trenton.
The plates on the car did not match the registration to the vehicle.
Upon further investigation, officers stated the woman was impaired.
Christina Stacey was charged with three counts of breaching a court order, unauthorized plates, impaired and driving over 80.
She has a bail hearing Monday.
