If you’re looking to get out some aggression and maybe make a difference as well, you could drop by Loyalist College this Thursday.
Students in the post-grad Public Relations program are holding a Smash and Dash event in support of the United Way of Quinte, featuring various smash-based games around campus, where you can make a donation and take part in a number of games and events.
Organizer Dan Schell tells Quinte News, the class is taking a different route with its annual fundraiser, after donating proceeds of the usual truckload sale, to victims of the Fort McMurray wildfires.
Schell adds you’ll be able to make a donation and take part in a number of smash-related games, including a car smash .
The smash and dash event is open to the public and runs between 7:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on Thursday and games range from $2 to $5 per ticket.
Over the years, the annual Loyalist PR fundraiser has raised close to $80,000 for the United Way of Quinte.
