A new program getting underway in Marmora and Lake – Crowe Valley area, called Message in a Bottle, is aimed at saving lives.
The Marmora and Crowe Valley Lions Club is distributing kits to residents of the area that will be a great help to emergency workers such as police, firefighters and paramedics.
Hastings-Quinte Paramedics Chief Doug Socha says a medical form is placed in a vial in the fridge.
Socha says this is a great help if the patient is unconscious when they arrive on the scene
