Work has begun on the Yardmen Arena, as the city awaits major construction and renovations to take place.
In October, the city began changes to the rink, as they await the completion of the tender process.
Director of Recreation Mark Fluhrer says they have been active.
The bidding for the renovation project ends November 4, 2016 and the city hopes to award the contract for work later this month.
