A Belleville woman will be sentenced in the new year for her role in a violent incident where a man was stabbed on Remembrance Day in 2015.
Twenty-two year old Gairy-Ann Brown recently pleaded guilty and will be sentenced on January 6.
Around 9:30 p.m. on November 11 of last year, police were called by paramedics in response to a man suffering from stab wounds.
Twenty-six-year-old Holly Neale of Belleville was charged with obstructing police and Brown was charged with aggravated assault.
Neale is back in court on November 16 to speak to her charge.
Sentencing for Brown is scheduled to begin January 6 at 9:30 a.m.
