More national university rugby honours for the Svoboda twins.
Centennial Secondary School graduates Sara and Katie Svoboda have been named 2016 Canadian University rugby All Canadians in Victoria British Columbia. Sara Svoboda was selected a CIS First Team All Canadian and is the Ontario University nominee for national Player of the Year honours. Katie was selected to the Second Team. Both are members of the defending champion McMaster Marauders.
The National Women’s Rugby Championships kick off today in Victoria against Belleville native Emily Babcock and the Ottawa U. Gee Gees.
