A 20-year-old Belleville man who fled from Prince Edward OPP in June 2015 has been sentenced to an intermittent jail sentence.
In February, Lonnie Herrington Jr, pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified and fleeing police and was given a three year driving prohibition.
He was handed 90 days in jail plus six months probation in Picton court on Wednesday.
Herrington was charged in 2015 after failing to stop for police in Bloomfield.
OPP located the suspect vehicle and followed it on to Big Island, and ended up arresting Herrington after a search involving a canine unit and an emergency response team.
