Police responded to a complaint of a break-in at the Codrington Community Centre that occurred sometime overnight.
The culprit(s) broke a window near the main entrance to gain entry and stole a quantity of cash.
The suspect is described as a male Caucasian, 5′ 6”, medium build, dark hair, in his late teens or early twenties wearing a ‘Bulls’ baseball cap, light coloured pants and a striped hooded sweatshirt. Investigation ongoing.
As a result of the ensuing investigation, members of the Northumberland OPP Street Response Team (SRT) arrested and charged a male on November 1, 2016.
Keanu GUNN, age 20 of Brighton, Ontario is charged with Break & Enter – commit an indictable offence and Mischief Under $5,000.
He was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brighton on December 6, 2016.
