It was another outstanding summer for visitors at Presqu’ile Provincial Park in Brighton.
Park Naturalist David Bree tells Quinte News, around 235,000 people either visited or camped at the park during the summer months.
Bree credits the long spells of hot and dry weather for the increase.
He adds that as the seasons change, the park is gearing up for the annual Christmas at Presqu’ile craft show, supporting the Friends of Presqu’ile Park.
That event will run from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, the next two weekends.
