The County of Prince Edward says about 9,000 residential property owner will be receiving amended Notices of Assessment.
The County has been notified by the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation that there was an error in calculating some residential property values that were listed on the Notices of Assessment sent out in May 2016.
MPAC has notified the municipality that the impact of these revisions to individual property owners is minimal, averaging less than 1%.
Property owners will be receiving an amended notice in November.
