After six years of relative inactivity, the Belleville Sports Hall of Fame is being renewed.
With a new President and executive, the Hall of Fame turns its attention to a number of significant changes including a relocation to the east end of the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre where there is higher visitibility.
The new President is Dave Mills, a 2010 inductee in the Belleville Sports Hall of Fame, not to mention a 2016 inductee in the Ontario Golf Hall of Fame which he helped to create. Mills retired as the Executive Director of the Golf Association of Ontario two years ago. Mills is also the father of former PGA pro Jon and and CPGA pro Jeff.
There are more than 100 inductees in the Belleville Sports Hall of Fame which was formed in 1988.
