Move over October – Movember is officially here.
That means millions of people will begin growing moustaches to raise awareness and cash for men’s health.
Loyalist College Journalism Professor Robert Washburn has been taking part for four years. Washburn does it in honour of his father and grandfather, both of whom he says faced men’s health issues.
Washburn explained he is also doing it for the young men and women he works with everyday. He even challenged his students to take part and they have created a group called the ‘Mo Bros.’
He added he hopes by raising awareness to up and coming journalists that they will continue to take care of themselves throughout their careers.
