Police responded to a report of a male breaking into a Seymour Twp home armed with a replica handgun and a knife demanding the homeowner’s car keys. The suspect fled prior to police arriving but was located a short distance away by officers and arrested after a short foot chase. The occupant of the home was not injured. Ivan John Dawson, age 24 of Trent Hills, ON was held for a bail hearing and faces multiple charges:
