Our region was two different worlds yesterday, especially last night.
South of the 401, drizzle was the main weather story, but north of the 401 and north of Highway 7, it was all about snow and ice.
There were accidents galore last evening on highways and side roads, especially in Centre Hastings, Tweed, and Stirling Rawdon.
Highway 62 had to be closed down for a while in the evening after a snowplow rolled over near Clearview Road.
No serious injuries were reported in any of the accidents.
Drive carefully this morning, as there’s about an inch of wet snow on the ground in the north and some more coming down.
