The Hastings Price Edward School Board has some major capital projects in their near future.
At Monday night’s board meeting, trustees and staff discussed their long term plan, which could see $250 million in renovations, or new school builds, over the next decade.

All but three schools are well over 30 years old, with some around 100 years.
Business Superintendent Nick Pfeiffer says this isn’t unique to the Bay of Quinte.
The plan shows that there are a dozen schools in the board, which may be too costly to renovate.
