We saw lots of much needed rain yesterday, but it wasn’t nearly enough to set a new rainfall record for an October 21.
According to Environment Canada, using readings from CFB Trenton, 26.9 mm of rain, over an inch, fell in our area yesterday.
The record rainfall for an October 21 occurred in 1995, when we received 50.8 mm.
