Smoke is visible from kilometres away, near the scene of a house fire, near Highway 37, just north of Harmony Road this morning.
Quinte News’ Tim Durkin is on the scene.
A lack of hydrants in the area is making it difficult for firefighters on the scene, but they have started applying water to the flames.
There’s no word at this time what sparked the blaze, or if anyone was home at the time.
