A Durham Region man was killed in a head on collision early last evening in Quinte West.
The 30 year old man was killed when the dirt bike he was driving slammed head on into an SUV.
An air ambulance was called to the scene on the Jamieson Road, near Wooler at 6 o’clock but the man could not be saved.
Meanwhile, earlier, at around 4 o’clock, there was a serious 3 vehicle accident on old highway 2, near Bayview Drive, not far east of CFB Trenton.
An air ambulance attended that scene and transported someone with serious injuries.
