Belleville’s Deputy Fire Chief says a burn ban has been lifted in Thurlow Ward.
Bruce Greatrix says conditions have improved enough that residents in Thurlow can start having outdoor fires again, but only after filling out and submitting an open air burning notification form.
Those forms can be picked up at Belleville City Hall or the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre.
Greatrix reminds residents living in the urban areas of the city that there is no outdoor burning allowed within the city limits.
