Some people were very relieved to hear members of the Belleville Fire Department knocking on their door earlier this morning, their elevator door, to be exact.
An elevator had become stuck at the Holiday Inn Express on North Front Street just after 3 this morning.
The fire department was called in, and with special tools was quickly able to remedy the situation and free the people from the elevator.
No one was injured.
