The Wellington Dukes are getting a good test this week.
Last night they played the North Division leading Stouffville Spirit to a 2-2 double overtime tie. Brent House scored at 12:18 of the third period to send the game to o.t. Tyler Harrison also scored for the Dukes who outshot Stouffville 37-26.
The point moves Wellington into first place overall in the OJHL with 19 points. Tonight they host the South-West Division leading Georgetown Raiders at the Essroc Arena at 7:30. CJBQ will have the play by play for Prinzen Ford Sales of Bloomfield.
Meanwhile the Trenton Golden Hawks host the Kingston Voyageurs at the Dunc McDonald Community Gardens at 7:30.
In Junior āCā the unbeaten Port Hope Panthers defeated the Pirates 5-3 in Picton. Nick Hoey had a goal and assist for the Pirates.
