One of the newest Wellington Dukes is making some waves league-wide, early on in the OJHL season.
Forward Brayden Stortz has been named the Northeast Conference’s player of the month for September, after recording 26 points, including seven goals, in nine games.
Stortz joined the Dukes this season, after putting up 100 points in 54 games with the NOJHL Kirkland Lake Gold Miners last season.
Trenton Golden Hawks forward Lucas Brown was named runner up for the award, after finishing wilth 21 points in the month.
