There are big plans for passenger rail service in this region and elsewhere in the country.
And Tuesday, local business leaders will have a chance to hear about them.
The President and CEO of VIA Rail, Yves Desjardins-Siciliano, will be guest speaker at the monthly Belleville Chamber of Commerce breakfast at the Travelodge.
He will be speaking about VIA’s dedicated passenger rail project designed to increase train ridership and ease traffic congestion.
