A former homeless youth is looking to support those living on the streets.
BC resident Joe Roberts is going coast to coast, pushing a shopping cart in the process.
Soon he will be going through the Quinte region.
Roberts was an addict and homeless in his teens and says he has a close connection to Belleville.
He says he will be forever grateful to the area.
He started walking May 1st in Newfoundland and will arrive in our area next week, with stops in Napanee, a pair in Belleville and one in Marmora.
