Connor Ryckman had a 34 save afternoon.
The Dukes are tied with the Trenton Golden Hawks, this after the G-Hawks suffered their first loss of the season.
They outshot Whitby 37-23, but fell 4-2.
Rex Moe and Brandon Marinelli both scored for Trenton.
Both Trenton and Wellington remain tied for first in the OJHL, with Georgetown, who has played one extra game.
Kingston is in Trenton on Friday night, while Wellington travels to Stoufville on Thursday.
