Both the Picton Pirates and Campbellford Rebels took their lumps last night in Provincial Junior C Hockey action, with Picton losing by an 8-1 count to the Port Hope Panthers and the Rebels falling 5-1 to Gananoque.
Seven unanswered goals was the story in Port Hope. Christian Antoski had the lone Pirates goal, unassisted. Aaron Young was on the hook for all eight goals, making 42 saves in the process.
In Campbellfordās loss, Austin Vallier had the only goal and Brandon Soucy made 37 saves.
Next game in the PJHL East is tonight when the Napanee Raiders head to Gananoque to face the Islanders. Game time is 7 p.m.
