A cyclist suffered scrapes and bruises after being hit by a car in the far east end of Belleville early last evening.
The mishap occurred at around 7 last evening on Highway 2 near Old Kingston Road.
The man on the bicycle was from Belleville and was taken to Belleville General for treatment.
The driver of the car was not a local woman.
An investigation continues.
