Belleville’s downtown got its official taste of fall yesterday.
Flavours of Fall, the City of Belleville event organized by the Belleville and District Chamber of Commerce hit the city’s core Saturday.
Situated on Bridge Street between Front and Pinnacle Streets and the parking lot in front of City Hall, a plethora of activities that Chamber CEO Bill Saunders said is designed to be family oriented and family friendly.
Next year, Saunders noted that with the expected completion of the Build Belleville projects affecting the downtown core, there may be a slightly different format location for the annual event.
Saunders noted the steady flow of foot traffic through the downtown event, citing it to partnerships with not only the organizations making up the Flavours of Fall event, but partnering events of the day including the Farmers’ Market celebrating its 200 year anniversary just behind City Hall.
