The Trenton Golden Hawks took a perfect record with them on their first road trip of the OJHL season and they came home with it in tact.
Jordan Chard and Austin Tonkovich led a balanced attack with a goal and assist in Trenton’s 5-1 victory over the Toronto Patriots. Rex Moe, Liam Morgan and Lucas Brown also scored as the Golden Hawks improve to 4-0. Chris Janzen stopped 28 shots.
The Golden Hawks are back home tomorrow when they host the Pickering Panthers at 7:30.
Meanwhile the Wellington Dukues put their 4-0 record on the line tonight in Newmarket.
Also tonight the Picton Pirates host the Napanee Raiders in their Empire Junior “C” Hockey League home opener. Game time is 7:30 at the Prince Edward Community Centre.
