On September 12th, 2016 at approximately 5:27 p.m., the Prince Edward County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) were called to a two vehicle head on collision on Marsh Road.
Police determined that an ATV and a pickup truck had collided there.
The rider of the ATV was injured in the collision.
He was taken to Belleville General Hospital with minor injuries.
Both drivers were issued Provincial Offence Notices as a result of the collision and subsequent investigation.
The rider of the ATV, a 16 year old was charged with distracted driving.
The driver of the pickup truck, a 19 year old was charged with failing to share the roadway.
