Belleville City Council will have another crack at talking about renovations to the Yardmen Arena.
Council will have a special meeting Monday morning, which will discuss proposed upgrades to the former home of the Belleville Bulls.
In mid August, a similar meeting was scheduled, however a late change to the negotiations cancelled the discussion around the horseshoe.

The breakdown of the proposed renovations is expected to be similar, if not the same as before.

On Thursday reporters (including our own David Foot), grilled the mayor about the topic of discussion, and whether or not it involved the relocation of a major hockey franchise to the city.
Christopher insisted he cannot say anything until after the weekend.
The city has been in discussions with a “hockey entity” for a number of months now, with speculation the talks involve the American Hockey League’s Binghamton Senators.
That has never once been confirmed by the team or the City of Belleville.
