Two local teams advanced to the finals of the “Slow Pitch National” championships in Niagara Falls over the weekend.
The “Dugout Divas” finished second among 52 teams in their Ladies Division. The “Assassins” also earned silver among 94 teams in the Mens Division.
Tara Brooks of the “Divas” says teams had to play in tournaments throughout the ball season to qualify for the Nationals.
