The hiring process for Belleville’s new casino is well underway.
Great Canadian Gaming hired a local human resources manager in the summer and is now working to fill more than 300 spots, before the facility opens next year.
Great Canadian Gaming’s Executive Director of Ontario East Andy Lacroix says they’ve already done some interviews for many senior management positions and are now looking to hire in just about every other department.
Lacroix adds even if you’re not experienced, they still want you to apply.
Lacroix says the response from the entire Quinte community has been extremely positive and they’ll be holding a number of job fairs in the area as well.
The next one is this Thursday September 22, at the Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte Career Fair.
