Officers from the Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently investigating an alleged sexual assault that took place on Sunday September 19, 2016, at approximately 10:30 p.m.
Information was given to police that the incident took place near the field on Dixon Drive to the north of the OPP detachment.
The alleged incident involved a lone female and three males.
The male parties are described as all in their 20s, one male was about 5’2 stocky build, the other two males were notably taller.
The tallest of the three was wearing a hooded sweater.
The shortest male was wearing a sweater and the hat was flat beaked. They were all wearing jeans.
The Quinte West OPP would like to remind the public if you are out walking in the evening, travel with a friend when possible and try to stay in areas with good lighting and visibility.
