Update @ 2:09 p.m.:
The investigation into the overnight fire at the old Hawkins Cheezies warehouse on Church Street in Belleville is continuing with the assistance of the Electrical safety Authority.
Fire Prevention officer Corey Davis says the building and contents are a total loss and damage is estimated at about $300,000.
Belleville fire officials say that due to the heavy fire damage to the structure a city backhoe was required to assist fire crews in extinguishing the blaze.
There were no injuries.

Belleville firefighters have been busy overnight.
An old Hawkins Cheezies warehouse fronting on Church Street, just south of Dundas, went up
in flames around 2 a.m. Monday.
The building was filled with cardboard and other packaging material, and firefighters are still on scene.
No one was injured and the cause is under investigation.
Meanwhile, just after 3 a.m., a tree involved with power lines caught fire in the area of Chatham and Pine Streets in Belleville.
The fire was put out quickly, and crews are working to remove debris.
